Edinburgh Castle Esplanade provides the spectacular setting for Scotland’s biggest annual event, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Taking place in August for more than 70 years, this event attracts audiences and performers the world over to Scotland’s capital city.
Displays by the British Armed Forces from home and across the Commonwealth come together for this prestigious event. The show starts with a fanfare of Pipes and Drums, followed by an array of performers. A spectacular display of fireworks over the magnificent castle brings each show to an end.
