Crufts is world’s greatest and most popular dog event in the World, attracting 160,000 visitors each year. Now organised by The Kennel Club, the show has celebrated every aspect of the role that dogs play in our lives, since it was launched in 1891.
Attracting 20,000 competitors each year, Crufts consists of several competitions, with categories including agility, obedience, flyball and of course the coveted Best in Show, which is hotly contested by dogs and their owners throughout the world.
Alongside the competitions, many trade stands sell a wide range of dog-related merchandise or advertise dog-related charities. Many exhibitors include interactive displays in their stands and demonstration of their product and work, i.e. demonstration of canine first aid.
