Llandudno pier has been one of the most recognisable landmarks in the town since opening in the year 1858 and was just 242 ft. long when first opened, and now stands an impressive 2,295ft in length stretching out from the foot of the Great Orme into the centre of the North Shore's Waters. The beginning of the pier is home to a few small shops offering drinks, ice-creams, candy floss and rock! Two Arcades are also situated along the pier.
